1/8/09 After a very long break from the show ring we finally returned to show a couple of youngsters. Iselite Mons Yerba Buena owned and handled by Ophnbark Kennels at his first show was awarded Puppy Of Breed, Challenge Dog and Runner Up To Best Of Breed. Ophnbark Call To Arms owned, bred and handled by Ophnbark Kennels also had his first show and was awarded Baby Puppy Of Breed.

28/1/07 Ebonjet Nifty Nev, owned and handled by Ophnbark Kennels was awarded minor puppy of breed, challenge dog and Best of Breed (9 points) whilst Ophnbark N Mad was awarded reserve challenge bitch under an international judge. Nifty only turned seven months of age today.

25/11/06 Ebonjet Nifty Nev, owned and handled by Ophnbark Kennels and Ophnbark N Mad, owned, bred and handled by Ophnbark Kennels both had their first obedience competition today. Nifty, aged just under 5 months old, came third in his class against much older dogs and gained a qualifying score and Maddie, aged just under 11 months of age won her class with an impressive score and also gained a qualifying score. Nifty and Maddie are both enjoying their obedience work and will continue with that whilst being shown lightly.

2/9/06 Ophnbark N Chaos owned by Mrs C A & Miss K L Sharpe was today awarded reserve Challenge dog at the Adelaide Royal Show. A fantastic achievement for a pup that is not quite 8 months of age and has a tail. A huge congratulations go to Cathy & Louie.

20/8/06 Ophnbark N Mad owned, bred and handled by Ophnbark Kennels took out challenge bitch and best of breed at today's championship show from the minor puppy class.

19/8/06 Ophnbark N Mad owned, bred and handled by Ophnbark Kennels took out challenge bitch and runner up best of breed today from the minor puppy class. Maddie is 7 months old.

12/8/06 Ophnbark A Lot owned, bred and handled by Ophnbark Kennels gained a qualifying score and second place in the ring at her first obedience competition today.

6/8/2006 Ophnbark N Chaos owned by Mrs C A & Miss K L Sharpe today won Best of Breed with a 10 point challenge and also took out  Puppy In Group. A huge congratulations to Cathy and Louie. We are hoping for a photo of Louie soon.

5/8/2006 Iselite Mons Tanga CD owned by Ophnbark Kennels gained the final pass for his CD title today at the Victorian State Open Obedience Trial. Tanga scored 190 out of a possible 200.

30/7/2006 Ophnbark N Chaos owned by Mrs C A & Miss K L Sharpe today won Puppy of Breed at just under 7 months of age over his kennel mate Rose who is 10 months old. Well done to Cathy and Louie.

23/7/2006 Ophnbark N Mad took out challenge bitch and best of breed at today's championship show from the minor puppy class.

1/7/2006   Ophnbark N Mad again took out baby puppy of breed at today's championship show.  This was her last show in the baby puppy class.

17/4/2006 Ophnbark N Mad owned and bred by Ophnbark Kennels went Baby Puppy of Breed at her first championship show today. Maddie will be shown lightly over the coming months.


13/4/2006 Ophnbark A Lot owned and bred by Ophnbark Kennels tonight went Runner Up In Group and Best Junior In Group at only her second show. Lottie has been concentrating on obedience but is now returning to the conformation ring before commencing her obedience and agility career.


8 & 9/4/2006 Ophnbark N Chaos bred by Ophnbark Kennels and owned by Mrs C A & Miss K L Sharpe had his first shows this weekend at 13 weeks of age. He came 2nd in his baby puppy class at both shows to a pup that was nearly 6 months of age. We expect to hear more about Louie in the show ring as time goes on.


25/6/2005 Iselite Mons Wonder owned by Ophnbark Kennels and handled by Kerry Doyle gained her first novice obedience pass today at Hastings & District Obedience Dog Club's open obedience trial. Wonder scored 181 and came second in the ring.


12/6/2005 Iselite Mons Tanga owned By Ophnbark Kennels and handled today by Kerry Doyle won Best Neuter In Show at the Schipperke Club of Victoria's Championship show. Tanga also only has one pass to go to gain his Australian CD title.
